I'm an architect who has recently graduated from the Web Development Bootcamp at Le Wagon in Berlin.
Driven by Berlin’s startup scene spirit, I’ve created a Meetup group called Berlin Architectural Network and applied, 3 years later, the knowledge from the bootcamp into building a social platform for architects.
This experience gave me the opportunity to create apps that are fun to use and are written in code that's maintainable and easy to read.
Now I’m looking forward to working alongside developers and designers and broadening my knowledge on web development.
At the moment i'm improving my skills with Linkedin Learning and building my own apps.
So far, these are the languages and frameworks i've been working with:
When i first came to Berlin in 2017, I was impressed by the Startup scene activity. I saw communities of developers collaborating and exchanging knowledge on the search for innovation. Even though I had a solid career as an architect, I started to participate in workshops and learn to code on my own.
My interest in programming kept growing and after 3 years I decided to join a Bootcamp.
Yet, why should you hire me?
Throughout my professional experience, as an architect, I've coordinated teams and used Scrum as a framework for my projects. Books such as "The Art of Doing Twice the Work in Half the Time" from Jeff Sutherland and "The Scrum Field Guide" from Mitch Lacey helped me build an agile mindset.
As a developer, I enjoy the architecture of a complex database, the problem solving behind coding as well as the challenge of creating appealing and accessible design. My working experience as an architect combined with the technical knowledge acquired at the bootcamp, makes me suitable for both Front- and Backend tasks.
Problem solving was always my motivation to keep on learning. Both, my 10 year old subscription by lynda.com (now Linkedin Learning) and my extensive library at home, classify me as a fast and passionate learner. Yet, it was foremost through mentors and teamwork that I’ve grown personally and professionally.
